Oscar Ishaka Congratulates Louis Ogbe on Chieftaincy Conferment

The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development, Chief Oscar Ishaka, the Okoke of Udu Kingdom, has congratulated Chief Louis Onakakpodevor Ogbe, JP, on his conferment with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Ugherughe of Udu Kingdom.

Chief Ishaka conveyed his congratulations following the official conferment of the title by His Royal Majesty, the Ovie of Udu Kingdom, on Thursday, June 5, 2026.

In a congratulatory message, Chief Ishaka described the honour bestowed on Chief Ogbe as a well-deserved recognition of his commitment, dedication, and contributions to the growth and development of Udu Kingdom. He noted that the title reflects the confidence and trust reposed in him by the traditional institution and the people of the kingdom.

The Governor’s aide commended the Ovie of Udu Kingdom for sustaining the rich cultural heritage of the kingdom through the recognition of deserving sons and daughters who have distinguished themselves in service to humanity and community development.

Chief Ishaka expressed confidence that Chief Ogbe would justify the honour by continuing to promote peace, unity, and progress across Udu Kingdom. He urged the newly installed chief to see the title as a call to greater service and responsibility toward the advancement of the kingdom and the welfare of its people.

According to him, traditional titles are not merely ceremonial but carry significant responsibilities that contribute to the preservation of culture, the promotion of communal harmony, and the support of development initiatives.
